Can an Episcopalian be a Scottish nationalist?

Whereas,

1. The Declaration of Arbroath is a foundational statement of Scottish Independence;

2. The Declaration of Arbroath states that Christ instituted the church in Scotland directly through St Andrew; and,

3. The Papal Bulls Super anxietatibus (1179), Cum universi (1192), and Scimus Fili (1299) recognise the independence of the Scottish church from the archiepiscopal oversight of York or Canterbury.


And, whereas,

1. In London, on 21 October 1610, George Abbot (London), Lancelot Andrewes (Ely), Richard Neile (Rochester), and Henry Parry (Worcester), Bishops of the Church of England, consecrated John Spottiswood (Glasgow), Andrew Lamb (Brechin) and Gavin Hamilton (Galloway) as bishops in the Church of Scotland; and

2. In Westminster Abbey, on 15 December 1661, Gilbert Sheldon (London), Hugh Lloyd (Llandaff), George Morley (Worcester), and Richard Sterne (Carlisle), Bishops of the Church of England, consecrated James Sharp (St Andrews), Andrew Fairfoul (Glasgow), Robert Leighton (Dunblane) and James Hamilton (Galloway) as bishops in the Church of Scotland.


Therefore,

Can an Episcopalian be a Scottish nationalist?
